本片改編自普林玆獎得主約翰葛林的同名暢銷小說，由《暮光之城》系列製片與《戀夏500日》雙編劇聯手打造，為導演喬許布恩繼《困在愛中》後二度拾起導演筒的長片作品。雪琳‧伍德利、安塞爾‧埃爾葛特、威廉‧達佛、蘿拉‧鄧、納特‧沃爾夫聯合演出。
海瑟是個平凡的女孩，雖然她罹患甲狀腺癌，而且已經進入末期。不過醫學奇蹟縮小了腫瘤，賦予她更多時間思考。對她而言，她的生命就像一顆不定時炸彈，面對死亡，她只想走得輕巧，不想活在太多人的記憶裡，以免讓她愛的人受到傷害。
奧古斯都是個開朗、自信的男孩，即使骨肉瘤害他失去半條腿，仍然肯定生命中簡單的喜悅。只是，他害怕被人遺忘，希望可以累積更多美好的回憶，並且永遠活在人們的記憶裡。

進戲院以後，預備的面紙並沒有用到，但是依然是部好片。年輕的有限生命，初體驗的美好總是能帶來會心一笑。節奏遠比想像的輕鬆，就如同片中的金句：總是有其他的無限大於我們的無限，我想導演只是要讓觀眾好好的享受那小小的無限。
